Product description

50 x 4 mm anion-exchange IC column for direct carbohydrate analysis with pulsed amperometric detection.

The Dionex CarboPac PA1 is an ion-exchange chromatography column for sensitive, selective separation of monosaccharides, disaccharides, and oligosaccharides. Its polymer-based anion-exchange particles enable direct carbohydrate analysis without derivatization, particularly when paired with pulsed amperometric detection (PAD).

  • Part number: 043096
  • Column dimensions: 50 mm length × 4 mm internal diameter
  • Stationary phase: Microporous, polymer-based anion exchanger
  • pH range: 0–14
  • Maximum pressure: ≤ 4000 psi
  • Recommended eluents: NaOH and sodium acetate, depending on the application
  • Compatible detection: Pulsed Amperometric Detection (PAD)
  • Compatible systems: Dionex ICS-6000, ICS-5000+, ICS-2100, and other compatible ion chromatography systems

The compact 50 × 4 mm format supports rapid carbohydrate analysis and screening workflows with short run times. Typical applications include food and beverage carbohydrate analysis, sugar-derivative quality control, pharmaceutical testing, clinical research, and biotechnology workflows such as molecular and glycan analysis.

The column is described as new, unused, factory sealed, and properly stored.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
