Product description

Regenerable capillary anion trap column for removing carbonate and anion contaminants in Dionex IC systems.

The Thermo Scientific Dionex 072078 CR-ATC Capillary Anion Trap Column is a regenerable inline trap column for capillary ion chromatography systems. It removes carbon dioxide, carbonates, and other inorganic anion contaminants from the eluent before the eluent enters the analytical system.

By reducing eluent impurities, this capillary anion trap column supports stable baselines and improved measurement reproducibility, particularly in low-ionic-strength applications and workflows requiring sensitive detection limits. It is designed for integration into the eluent supply path of Thermo Scientific Dionex capillary IC systems, including the ICS-4000 and ICS-5000.

Technical specifications:

  • Product type: Capillary anion trap column
  • Application: Removal of CO₂, carbonates, and other anion contaminants
  • System compatibility: Thermo Scientific Dionex capillary ion chromatography systems
  • Installation position: Inline, before the eluent inlet
  • Capillary system connection: 0.4 mm inner diameter compatibility
  • Maximum operating pressure: 21 bar (300 psi)
  • Operating temperature: 10–40 °C
  • Dimensions: Approximately 55 mm × 6 mm diameter
  • Weight: Approximately 50 g
  • Regeneration: Integrated system operation; self-regenerating

The column is new and unused in its original packaging, making it suitable for high-purity eluent preparation in capillary IC applications, inorganic anion analysis, environmental testing, and analytical chemistry research.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
