Product description

CarboPac PA1 anion-exchange IC column for monosaccharide, disaccharide, and oligosaccharide analysis.

The Dionex CarboPac PA1 043096 is an analytical ion chromatography column designed for sensitive and selective separation of monosaccharides, disaccharides, oligosaccharides, and other carbohydrates. Its microporous, polymer-based anion-exchange particles enable direct carbohydrate analysis without derivatization.

  • Dimensions: 50 mm length × 4 mm inner diameter
  • Stationary phase: Microporous, polymer-based anion exchanger
  • Compatible detection: Pulsed Amperometric Detection (PAD)
  • pH range: 0–14
  • Maximum pressure: ≤ 4000 PSI
  • Recommended eluents: NaOH and sodium acetates, depending on the application
  • Compatible systems: Dionex ICS-6000, ICS-5000+, ICS-2100, and similar systems

This compact CarboPac PA1 IC column is suitable for rapid carbohydrate screening, food and beverage testing, pharmaceutical quality control, clinical research, and biotechnology workflows. It is particularly relevant to carbohydrate analysis in bioprocessing, molecular biology, and biopharmaceutical production pipelines where reliable sugar separation and pulsed amperometric detection are required.

The column is new and unused, supplied in its original seal and properly stored.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
