Continuous GC-IMS analyzer for real-time, low-ppb detection of hazardous gases in ambient air.
The Environics-IUT ENVI-Air GC-IMS is a continuously operating hazardous gas analyzer for ultra-low-level detection of single- and multi-component gases in ambient air. Designed for indoor and outdoor use, this 19-inch rack-mount gas analyzer provides real-time measurements in demanding industrial environments.
The system uses Gas Chromatography–Ion Mobility Spectrometry (GC-IMS). Gas chromatography separates multi-component samples before ion mobility analysis, enabling selective detection from the low-ppb range to percentage-level concentrations. The analyzer requires no carrier gas, paper tape, pre-concentrator, or chemical reagents.
The ENVI-Air can be configured for compounds including ammonia, acetone, acrylonitrile, acetonitrile, arsine, benzyl chloride, bromine, chlorine, chlorocyanide, BTX, CMME, ethylene oxide, dibutyl phthalate (DMP), dimethyl sulfate, HFPO, hydrazine, hydrogen chloride, hydrogen bromide, hydrogen fluoride, hydrogen sulfide, TDI, methyl bromide, isopropyl alcohol, methyl iodide, nitrogen dioxide, NMP, PFIB, phosgene, phosphine, PGME, PGMEA, sulfur dioxide, triethylamine, and vinyl chloride.
The analyzer is suitable for hazardous gas monitoring, industrial process safety, chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, semiconductor facilities, and environmental air monitoring. It was factory calibrated for compounds of interest and is described as fully functional and ready for use.
Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.
We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.
We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.
With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.
Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.
Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.
Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.
We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
Tell us what you need and a scientist finds it for you, usually within the hour.
