Amersham Biosciences TE 77 PWR semi-dry blot transfer system for Western blotting, with built-in power supply and automatic stop.
The Amersham Biosciences TE 77 PWR semi-dry blot transfer system performs electrophoretic protein transfer from polyacrylamide gels to membranes for Western blotting and molecular biology workflows.
The built-in power supply provides the transfer output without an external power source. Automatic stopping monitors transfer stack resistance and detects buffer depletion. Platinum-titanium and stainless steel electrodes support uniform transfer across the stack.
The unit is used and accommodates gels up to 21 × 26 cm or up to four side-by-side mini gels. Typical transfer time is less than one hour.
The Amersham Biosciences TE 77 PWR is a semi-dry blot transfer system for protein electrophoresis and Western blotting. It transfers proteins from polyacrylamide gels onto membranes using low-current and low-voltage operation.
This used TE 77 PWR unit includes the built-in power supply and automatic stop configuration.
The low-current, low-voltage transfer design reduces Joule heating and the associated risk of membrane damage. Automatic stopping when buffer depletion is detected helps prevent overheating during a transfer run.
The capacity for four side-by-side mini gels supports parallel Western blotting work. The unit also accepts a single gel up to 21 × 26 cm for larger-format protein transfer.
Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.
We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.
We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.
With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.
Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.
Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.
Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.
We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
Tell us what you need and a scientist finds it for you, usually within the hour.
