Product description

Agilent G6011A Quiet Cover noise reduction cabinet for MS40+ rotary vane pumps, with access, oil collection and temperature monitoring.

The Agilent G6011A Quiet Cover noise reduction cabinet is a pump enclosure for MS40+ rotary vane pumps used with LC/MS systems and other mass spectrometry equipment.

The cover includes locking castors for pump movement, a removable sectioned cover for tool-free access, a lift and tilt lever for oil drainage, and a removable drip pan for oil collection. Integrated fans control the temperature inside the cover. LEDs and an audible alarm indicate temperatures above 35 °C. The Agilent MS40+ rotary vane pump shown with the cover is optional. Other fitting rotary vane pumps can also be used.

The used cover was tested and maintained. Its condition is described as excellent.

The Agilent G6011A Quiet Cover is a noise reduction cabinet for rotary vane rough pumps used in LC/MS and mass spectrometry pump noise reduction in life sciences laboratories.

Configuration and features

  • Locking castors support movement of the pump during maintenance.
  • The sectioned cover can be removed without tools for pump access.
  • A built-in lift and tilt lever raises the pump end for oil drainage.
  • The removable drip pan includes a well and handholds for collecting and transporting oil.
  • Sound-absorbing cabinet insulation reduces pump noise.
  • The pump mounting helps reduce vibration.
  • Two integrated fans maintain airflow inside the cover.
  • LEDs and an audible alarm indicate temperatures above 35 °C.
  • The maximum ambient temperature is 35 °C when airflow is not restricted or recycled.

The used Agilent G6011A Quiet Cover was tested and maintained and is in excellent condition. The Agilent MS40+ rotary vane pump is available as an optional combination and is not part of the cover itself.

What these specifications mean

The cover is designed for the Agilent MS40+ rotary vane pump and other fitting rotary vane pumps. Pump fit therefore depends on the enclosure accommodating the pump configuration.

The 35 °C temperature threshold connects the alarm function with the stated maximum ambient temperature. The LEDs and audible alarm indicate when the temperature inside the cover exceeds this limit.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
