Thermo Scientific Fiberlite F9-6x1000 LEX is a new, standalone fixed-angle centrifuge rotor designed for the Sorvall LYNX 6000 superspeed centrifuge. It provides high-volume sample processing for biotechnology, bioprocessing, cell culture, and molecular biology workflows.
The rotor is suitable for pelleting bacteria, yeast, mammalian cells, insect cells, and cellular debris; clarifying lysates; separating subcellular organelles; and processing large-volume samples in bioproduction and biopharmaceutical production pipelines. It is also well suited to high-capacity centrifugation in cell biology, synthetic biology, and biotechnology research.
The listing configuration specifies a maximum RCF of 17,568 × g. A separate feature summary states 16,504 × g; users should verify the applicable RCF for their rotor and centrifuge configuration.
