Beckman Coulter PA 800 Plus capillary electrophoresis system with UV and diode array detectors for protein, glycan and biomolecule analysis.
The Beckman Coulter PA 800 Plus capillary electrophoresis system is an automated electrophoresis platform for quantitative analysis of proteins, biopharmaceuticals, glycans and other biomolecules. Applications include CE-SDS protein purity and molecular-weight analysis, capillary zone electrophoresis, capillary isoelectric focusing and glycan profiling.
This unit includes UV and diode-array detector modules. The diode-array detector provides wavelength selection from 190 to 600 nm. The original USB licence dongle, PA 800 Plus Empower Driver, Empower GPIB interface and NI-488.2 driver support instrument control and data acquisition through Waters Empower chromatography data software. Sample handling supports universal vials and 96 well plates.
The system was manufactured in December 2012 and is used. It has good cosmetic condition with normal signs of previous use. Thorough testing was not possible because the required Empower software was unavailable.
