Product description

Julabo TW8 water bath for controlled sample heating from 25 to 99.9 °C, with 3 to 8 L capacity and 0.1 °C resolution.

The Julabo TW8 water bath is a temperature-controlled laboratory water bath for sample heating. It is also used for sample heating in life sciences laboratories. The bath operates with water or other media up to their boiling point.

The stainless-steel inner tank contains the heater, temperature sensor and overheating protection element. A water-resistant foil keypad provides control through an integrated mains switch. Microprocessor control stores and displays temperature values and operating times. The electronic PID control adjusts heat input to the selected value.

The used unit was tested in a laboratory and is in good working condition.

The Julabo TW8 water bath provides controlled heating for laboratory sample preparation and other temperature-dependent procedures.

What these specifications mean

The 25 to 99.9 °C working range supports controlled heating from low-temperature applications to temperatures close to the boiling point of water. The high and low temperature warning function provides optical and audible alerts when configured limits are reached.

The electronic timer supports timed heating from 1 minute to 9 hours 59 minutes. Its audible interval signal identifies the end of the programmed operating period.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
