Product description

A&D AD-4212D-32S weigh module with 5.1/32 g capacity and 0.001/0.01 mg readability for in-line weighing.

The A&D AD-4212D-32S is an ultra-precise weighing module balance designed for rapid, space-efficient in-line weighing in industrial, laboratory, and high-technology applications. Its dual-range configuration provides a 5.1 g/32 g capacity with 0.001 mg/0.01 mg readability.

  • Smart range function automatically changes from the precision range to the standard range when the load exceeds 5.1 g.
  • The balance returns to the precision range through Re-Zero (tare).
  • FAST mode provides stabilization in approximately 7 seconds.
  • Linearity is ±0.02 mg.
  • Repeatability is 0.002 mg, measured with a 1 g mass using an automatic loading machine.
  • Temperature stability is ±2 ppm/°C from 10°C to 30°C.
  • Operating conditions are 5°C to 40°C with humidity below 85%, non-condensing.
  • The balance accommodates calibration weights of 1 g, 2 g, 5 g, 10 g, 20 g, and 30 g.
  • Selectable display refresh rates are 5 or 10 readings per second.
  • An analog-to-digital converter sends weight data directly to a PC or PLC.
  • The specified RS-232C I/O supports data transfer; LAN connectivity is available through the separately sold A&D AD-8526 adapter.
  • A patented shock absorber beneath the 3.4 cm pan helps protect the weighing sensor from disturbances.
  • Additional features include a breeze break, customizable pan, and IP65 cleaning cap.
  • The balance is compatible with A&D peripherals and WinCT-AD4212D freeware for real-time weight display and instrument-setting adjustments.

This A&D weighing module is suitable for automated weighing, precision process control, biotechnology workflows, analytical sample handling, and laboratory or manufacturing systems requiring high-resolution in-line mass measurement.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
