Olympus VMT/SZH stereo microscope with 1x and 2x objectives, brightfield and darkfield illumination, and 0.75x auxiliary lens.
The Olympus VMT/SZH stereo microscope is used for three-dimensional specimen observation and inspection. Stereo microscopy supports work with translucent objects and samples that require surface detail and contrast.
This unit combines a VMT-2F-W microscope body with an SZH-ILLD illumination base, paired G10X eyepieces, VMT 1x and 2x objective pairs in a built-in turret, and a VM-AL 0.75x auxiliary lens. The base provides brightfield and darkfield illumination. The clear glass stage plate supports specimen positioning. No stage clips are included.
The used microscope has been performance tested in a laboratory and is in good condition. It shows some signs of use.
This used Olympus stereo microscope includes the following configuration:
The microscope is suitable for specimen observation, surface inspection, and microscopy of translucent objects. Its darkfield illumination is also used for observing plankton in solution. The unit has been performance tested in a laboratory, is in good condition, and shows some signs of use.
Brightfield and darkfield illumination support different observation conditions. Darkfield increases contrast around translucent specimens and is used for detecting striae and scratches in jewels and glass. It is also used for observing plankton in solution.
The 1x and 2x objective pairs provide different magnification settings within the built-in turret. The optional 0.75x auxiliary lens adds another optical configuration when fitted.
Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.
We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.
We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.
With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.
Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.
Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.
Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.
We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
Tell us what you need and a scientist finds it for you, usually within the hour.
