The Olympus ULWD CDPlan 20x/0.40 160/0-2 is a long working distance microscope objective designed for observing specimens in Petri dishes, culture vessels, and other containers. Its ultra-long working distance helps provide clearance between the objective and sample, supporting cell culture imaging and routine life science microscopy without requiring immersion in the medium.
The objective is compatible with common Olympus microscopes using a 160 mm tube length. Its long working distance is useful for live-cell observation and other microscopy workflows where sample clearance is important.
