Binocular brightfield microscope with 1000x magnification, PLAN objectives, mechanical stage, and LED illumination for advanced educational use.
The B-190 Binocular Brightfield Microscope is engineered for precision optical imaging with a maximum magnification of 1000x, featuring four N-PLAN objectives (4x/0.10, 10x/0.25, 40x/0.65, 100x/1.25 oil/water immersion), all treated with anti-fungus coating. It is equipped with a binocular head offering 360° rotation and 30° inclination for ergonomic use, with interpupillary adjustment from 48 to 75 mm and dioptric correction on the left eyepiece.
The optical system is finite with a FN 18 high-eyepoint eyepiece (WF 10x/18 mm) secured by screws, suited for users in educational and research settings including biotechnology and molecular diagnostics. Its quadruple revolving nosepiece uses ball-bearing rotation to ensure smooth objective changes essential in sample-intensive workflows such as gene editing and synthetic biology studies.
A double-layer mechanical stage measuring 125 x 115 mm with a 70 x 30 mm X-Y movement range includes a vernier scale with 0.1 mm accuracy, supporting precise slide positioning critical for applications in live-cell imaging and bioprocessing analysis. The coaxial coarse and fine focusing mechanism features adjustable tension and a limit stop to prevent specimen damage, enhancing durability and repeatability required in rigorous laboratory environments.
Illumination is provided by a powerful and energy-efficient X-LED² white 3 W LED light source with adjustable intensity, delivering a uniform brightfield illumination at a color temperature of 6300 K. The Abbe condenser (N.A. 1.25) is pre-centered and adjustable in height, equipped with an iris diaphragm to optimize contrast and resolution for detailed fluorescence analysis and biomedical engineering applications. Power supply supports 100–240 Vac input via an external 6 Vdc adapter, making it suitable for diverse laboratory settings.
This microscope is ideal for advanced teaching environments and research laboratories focusing on neuroimaging, molecular biology, and clinical diagnostics. Its slim, portable yet robust construction ensures long-term use and reliability, making it a valuable tool widely adopted in synthetic biology research and biopharmaceutical production pipelines.
Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.
We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.
We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.
With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.
Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.
Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.
Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.
We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
Tell us what you need and a scientist finds it for you, usually within the hour.
