Product description

Compact DI water system with 3-stage filtration delivering >10 MΩ∙cm ultrapure water for laboratory and bioprocessing use.

The Hydra Slimline Premium Purity DI System is a compact, preassembled cartridge filtration system engineered for producing ultrapure deionized water with resistivity above 10 MΩ∙cm. Its three-stage purification process includes:

  • Stage 1: Carbon cartridge filtration removing particles >5 micron, chlorine, and organic contaminants.
  • Stages 2 & 3: Dual low Total Organic Carbon (TOC) mixed bed deionizer cartridges designed to reduce dissolved organics and silica to trace levels, shedding less than 10 ppb TOC.

The system includes:

  • One 2½" x 10" carbon cartridge
  • Two 2½" x 20" low TOC mixed bed cartridges
  • A 200 kΩ∙cm DI resistivity light for real-time water quality monitoring
  • ¾" fitting and tubing kit
  • Wall mounting bracket with all housings preassembled

Ideal for biotechnology laboratories, molecular diagnostics workflows, and bioprocessing facilities requiring high purity water critical for synthetic biology, gene editing, and biomanufacturing applications. The turnkey design ensures easy integration into clinical diagnostics and cell imaging setups reliant on ultrapure water. This system’s robust cartridge filtration and mixed bed resin technology make it essential for applications demanding consistent, low-contaminant water quality in critical research environments.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
