Batch membrane filtration system with pressure-controlled pumps and multitube heat exchanger for testing micro-, ultra-, nano-, and reverse osmosis membranes.
The MMS Membrane System SW18 is a versatile batch laboratory membrane filtration system designed for precise microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis processes. Developed for applications including molecular fractionation, purification, and concentration, this bench-scale unit supports testing of spiral wound, ceramic, hollow fiber, and tubular membrane modules with operating pressures up to 40 bar.
Key technical features include:
The unit provides permeate flow rates from 1 to 5 L/h, depending on feed characteristics, and total flow rates up to 450 L/h. It incorporates high-precision instrumentation including two pressure transducers (0–50 bar), a temperature transducer (0–100 °C), and a balance with 1 g resolution, enabling detailed membrane performance analysis in clinical diagnostics, biofuels processing, and food extract purification.
Widely adopted across sectors such as biotechnology, chemical processing, and food and aroma extraction, the MMS SW18 supports critical procedures in protein concentration, acid recovery, and organic acid clarification, making it an essential apparatus for research laboratories focused on membrane technology and bioprocess development.
Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.
We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.
We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.
With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.
Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.
Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.
Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.
We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
Tell us what you need and a scientist finds it for you, usually within the hour.
