The BMM Weston Model 2616 Steam Generator, paired with a Lubron Osmostar 250 Water Purifier, originated from a surplus university facility. This equipment requires significant recommissioning, particularly re-wiring of the steam generator and repair of copper pipes that were cut during removal.
Key features of the steam generator include two 30KW heating elements, a 123-litre boiler capacity, a design temperature of 168˚C, and an operating pressure of 6.6 bar. The accompanying Lubron Osmostar 250 Reverse Osmosis System offers a capacity of 250 litres per hour at 30 bar working pressure, supported by a Lubron Softstar Water Softener. Please note the system's operational testing is currently inhibited due to existing hard-wiring and residual water issues.
