Slim 179L medical refrigerated cabinet with microcomputer temperature control, thermistor sensor, and precise alarm system
This Fukushima Galilei FMS-174GS is a slim-type medical refrigerated cabinet designed specifically for pharmaceutical storage with a 179-liter capacity. It features a thermistor sensor to ensure accurate internal temperature monitoring, controlled by a high-performance microcomputer system. The unit offers two temperature control modes: an Eco Mode adjustable between 2 to 25°C, and a High Precision Mode between 3 to 5°C, suitable for precise biotechnological and molecular diagnostic storage requirements.
The cabinet dimensions are 500 mm width, 450 mm depth, and 1870 mm height externally, with internal usable space of 420×285×1347 mm. A sophisticated temperature alarm system includes high and low temperature thresholds (+2 to +15°C and -2 to -9°C respectively), a digital alternating display, and buzzer alerts to maintain critical environmental conditions.
Ideal for clinical diagnostics, biotechnology labs requiring reliable bioprocessing storage, and pharmaceutical applications, the FMS-174GS supports cold chain integrity essential for molecular biology workflows and biomanufacturing processes. Accessories include two keys, an instruction manual, and a power cord.
Please note this is a used unit with a minor scratch on the left rear side and is sold as-is; users should verify functionality before application in sensitive biotech or pharmaceutical environments.
Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.
We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.
We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.
With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.
Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.
Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.
Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.
We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
Tell us what you need and a scientist finds it for you, usually within the hour.
