Barrier-free eye-face wash with antimicrobial ABS heads and stainless steel 20 GPM shower for lab safety compliance.
The Acorn Safety S2260-PAN-RA is a wall-mounted, recessed safety station combining an _automatic eye-face wash_ with a stainless steel emergency shower, designed specifically for laboratory and industrial safety applications. This unit features a barrier-free, swing-down activation for the eye-face wash, equipped with antimicrobial ABS plastic spray heads and internal flow control with a 50 mesh inline strainer to ensure contaminant-free water delivery.
The emergency shower includes an 8-1/8" diameter stainless steel head delivering a regulated minimum flow of 20 GPM via a 1" brass stay-open valve recessed within a vandal-resistant stainless steel enclosure. The entire system is constructed with durable materials, including Schedule 40 galvanized steel piping with a yellow powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance. Connections utilize 1/2" and 1" NPT female threaded brass inlets to integrate with standard laboratory water supplies.
The unit complies with ADA requirements when installed at correct heights and includes ANSI-compliant safety signage with a weekly test tag for maintenance verification. Its robust design and antimicrobial components make it essential for safety infrastructure in biotechnology, clinical diagnostics, and biomanufacturing environments, ensuring rapid decontamination during chemical or biological exposure incidents.
This safety station is widely adopted in molecular biology laboratories, synthetic biology research centers, and bioprocessing facilities where rapid emergency washing is critical to protecting personnel from hazardous chemical and biological agents. Its reliable construction and compliance make it a critical component for molecular diagnostics and live-cell imaging labs requiring stringent safety standards.
Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.
We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.
We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.
With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.
Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.
Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.
Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.
We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
Tell us what you need and a scientist finds it for you, usually within the hour.
