The instrument has various foam holders for different vortex tubes; this makes it extremely useful for emulsifying, disintegrating, mixing or homogenizing samples. Ergonomics and simplified operation Switching between applications using different foam racks is quick and easy: - Loosen both screw knobs on the closure plate and lift up the plate. - Remove the plate or simply tighten it higher. - Place the rack with the tubes inside the foam holder, lower or insert the closure plate until you reach the tubes and tighten the knobs. - Done! When the platen temperature is above 50°C and the heating function is not active, a safety message is displayed.
