Product description

Remote dispense Type I water system with UV sterilization, ultrafiltration, ion exchange, and 2.5 LPM flow rate.

The Yamato WG-301UVUFR is a remote dispense Type I water purification system designed for producing ultrapure water suitable for sensitive molecular biology applications. It uses a staged purification process combining:

  • High-purity ion exchange resins to remove dissolved minerals
  • Ultraviolet (UV) light for bacterial sterilization and Total Organic Carbon (TOC) reduction
  • Ultrafiltration (UF) for pyrogen removal and nuclease-free water
  • Final filtration via a 0.2 micron filter to eliminate particulates and bacteria, achieving Type I water quality

Key features:

  • Compact design with quick-change cartridges (tool-free replacement)
  • Produces 2.5 L/min of 18.2 MΩ·cm reagent-grade water on demand
  • Intuitive touch screen interface for operation and real-time water quality monitoring
  • Leak detection system integrated
  • Premium quality ion exchange resin cartridges with 1-year shelf life, made in USA
  • Low-cost ownership model with large-capacity consumables

Applications:

  • Genetics research
  • DNA sequencing
  • Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) workflows

Technical specifications:

  • Resistivity: 18.2 MΩ·cm
  • Bacteria level: < 1 cfu/ml
  • Endotoxin: < 0.005 EU/ml
  • Particulates: < 0.05 μm filtration
  • TOC: < 5 ppb
  • RNase: < 0.01 ng/ml
  • DNase: < 4 pg/μl
  • Operating temperature: up to 100°F / 30°C
  • Operating pressure: 20 to 90 PSIG
  • Flow rate: typically 2.5 LPM (0.67 GPM), limited to < 2.0 LPM when UF and endotoxin filters installed
  • Inlet connection: 3/8” outer diameter tubing (9.53 mm)
  • Dimensions (HxWxD): 21.6 x 14.7 x 14.4 inches (54.8 x 37 x 36.5 cm)
  • Weight: 42 lbs dry, 47 lbs operating (22.7 kg dry, 25 kg operating)
  • Power requirements: 120 V, 60 Hz at 1.0 amp or 220 V, 50 Hz at 0.5 amp

This system is purpose-built for laboratories requiring reliable, high-purity ultrapure water with remote dispense capability and integrated microbial and organic contaminant control.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
