Product description

Binocular stereomicroscope with 10x–40x achromatic objectives, LED incident and transmitted light, fixed arm, rotating head.

The SFX Stereomicroscope is designed for detailed *brightfield observation* in research and biotechnology applications, including live-cell imaging and molecular diagnostics. It features a binocular head inclined at 45° for ergonomic viewing with an adjustable interpupillary distance and dioptric correction on both eyepieces (WF 10x/20 mm). Achromatic objectives offer magnifications of 1x, 2x, and 4x with anti-fungus treatment, ensuring optical clarity essential for bioprocessing and synthetic biology protocols.

The robust fixed arm stand includes a rack and pinion focusing mechanism controlled by dual knobs for precise specimen adjustment. Illumination is provided by dual 1W LED light sources—incident and transmitted illumination—with a touch panel brightness control, supporting color temperature of 6,300 K, suitable for fluorescence analysis and other biomedical engineering workflows. Power is supplied via a multi-plug external adapter (100–240 Vac / 5 Vdc) with optional rechargeable batteries (not included), enhancing portability for clinical diagnostics and field research.

This stereomicroscope is widely used in neuroscience imaging, gene editing validation, and biomanufacturing quality control, making it an essential instrument for laboratories focusing on advanced biotechnology applications and essential molecular cloning workflows.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
