Product description

Compact LED illuminator with broad-spectrum excitation, manual and remote control, direct fit or liquid light guide options.

  • The pE-300white is a compact LED fluorescence illuminator designed for microscope use.
  • Provides broad-spectrum excitation covering fluorophores such as *DAPI, CFP, Aqua, FITC, TRITC, TxRed, Cy5*, and others.
  • Operation via manual control pod with instant on/off and continuous irradiance adjustment from 0-100%.
  • Remote control possible through USB or TTL trigger interfaces.
  • Available in two configurations:
  • Direct fit: higher irradiance, reduced operational costs with fewer consumables.
  • Liquid light guide: ideal for confocal microscopes, minimizes photobleaching and phototoxicity compared to metal halide sources.
  • Supports fast multi-channel imaging by allowing excitation of fluorophores individually or combined without filter cube changes.
  • Independent control of three LED wavebands enables excitation adjustment for each fluorophore on multi-stained samples, reducing the need for single-band filter sets.
  • Energy efficient, consuming 60 Watts at full power across all three channels, outperforming other LED technologies (120-350 Watts).
  • Awarded the 2017 I2SL “Go Beyond Award” for excellence in sustainability and energy efficiency in high-technology facilities.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
