The Labconco Purifier 3′ Class I Safety Enclosure is a ductless biosafety cabinet designed to provide particulate contamination protection through a 99.99% efficient HEPA filtration system. It achieves a vertical laminar airflow velocity of 75–105 fpm, ensuring a clean environment essential for sensitive molecular diagnostics, PCR workflows, and bioprocessing applications requiring biosafety levels 1 to 3 containment without product protection.
Constructed from epoxy-coated aluminum and steel, this 3-foot (36" x 29" x 38") enclosure incorporates a ¼ inch-thick safety glass sash with a 9.44" ergonomic vertical opening set at a 10° angle, providing user protection and comfortable access. The cabinet includes Clean-Sweep airflow openings, an upper dilution air supply, and strategically placed airfoils to optimize airflow and contamination control. Its variable speed blower features a vibration-isolated impeller and a minihelic pressure gauge for precise airflow monitoring.
