Efficient blood mixing and monitoring with adjustable alarms, optical alerts, and optional battery.
The Delcon HemoMix 2 Electronic Blood Bag Monitor accommodates all types of blood donor bags with ease. Equipped with a linear mixing system, it ensures consistent and excellent mixing of blood with anticoagulants. Users can customize alarm settings for low and high flow rates, and set the maximum donation time to 20 minutes. A default volume setting in mL can be preset, which the mixer recalls each time it is powered on. The desired collection volume can be adjusted anytime, even during donations. Upon completion, the HemoMix 2 automatically clamps the tube, activating both optical and visual alarms. The display will alternately show the final collected volume and donation time in minutes and seconds.
Calibration is straightforward, requiring a calibration mass (not included). With an optional rechargeable battery pack (not included), the HemoMix 2 can operate without external power for up to 80 donations.
