Product description

Temperature-controlled shaking incubator with orbital motion, 8°C–70°C range, 68 L capacity, 250 rpm max shaking.

The LAUDA VS 60 OI shaking incubator provides precise temperature regulation with microprocessor PID control and RS232 interface. It achieves stable temperatures from 8°C above ambient up to +70°C (optionally down to 20°C with cooling coil). Temperature is digitally displayed with 0.1°C resolution and monitored electronically with alarms and automatic shutoff on fault.

  • Agitation & Incubation:
  • Quiet, robust stirring with gentle start and constant orbital motion
  • Adjustable shaking frequency from 20 to 250 min⁻¹
  • Shaking width: 30 mm
  • Timer adjustable from 1 to 999 minutes with acoustic signal at expiration
  • Orbital motion can be enabled or disabled independently
  • Physical & Capacity:
  • External housing: electrolytically galvanized, powder-coated sheet steel
  • Liftable acrylic glass cover
  • Vibrating aluminium platform: 450 mm × 450 mm with 4 plastic pins for trays or supports
  • Usable volume: approx. 68 L with capacity for 1 stirring tray
  • Maximum load: 12 kg
  • Stirring width: 30 mm

Suitable for homogenization, incubation, fermentation, chemical/biochemical reactions, enzyme and tissue studies, and bacterial culture growth. Soft-touch control panel with clear symbols allows accurate setting of temperature, shaking frequency, and incubation time.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
