The Merck Millipore Scepter 3.0 is in full working condition and ready for immediate use. It is the only automated cell counter that is both portable and handheld, providing the accuracy and consistency of Coulter impedance counting directly in your culture hood. This innovative device eliminates the need for cumbersome benchtop equipment. Unlike traditional automated counters, the Scepter 3.0 does not rely on vision-based systems, manual focusing, or large loading chambers, thus minimizing human and software errors. Equipped with a microfabricated, precision-engineered sensor, it performs complete cell assessments and calculations, delivering accurate and reliable counts in under 30 seconds. The device features a handheld, portable, ergonomic design, employs the Coulter Principle for precise and reproducible results, and is compatible with two sensor sizes (40 μm and 60 μm). It displays cell concentration, average size, average volume, and histograms, and can store up to 999 counts for PC download and further analysis.
