Portable waterproof pH/EC/DO meter with 4m cable, 45000 data storage, USB PC transfer, IP67/IP68 rating.
The Hanna HI 98199 is a portable multiparameter pH meter optimized for immersion measurements in field conditions, featuring a robust waterproof design with IP67 main unit and IP68 electrodes. Its standard pH electrode enables measurements of pH, mV, and temperature, while optional EC and dissolved oxygen electrodes expand capabilities to conductivity, total dissolved solids, resistivity, salinity, seawater specific gravity, dissolved oxygen concentration, and oxygen saturation. The meter supports simultaneous calibration of pH, EC, and DO using specialized standard solutions for streamlined field workflows critical in biotechnology and environmental research.
Equipped with a 4-meter electrode cable and a user-friendly data logger capable of storing up to 45,000 records, the device enables flexible monitoring with adjustable sampling intervals from 1 second to 3 hours. Data export is facilitated via included USB connectivity, essential for integrating results into molecular diagnostics and bioprocessing pipelines. The meter also includes a GLP feature for calibration record verification and a backlight for improved visibility during outdoor or low-light conditions. With an approximate 400-hour battery life without backlight, this unit offers reliability suitable for prolonged field studies.
The compact carrying case (85 mm thick) provides convenient portability, ensuring the meter and accessories are protected during transit. This device is widely used in synthetic biology, biomanufacturing, clinical diagnostics, and environmental biotechnology research where precise multiparameter measurements are necessary.
Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.
We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.
We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.
With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.
Yes. Every verified supplier states which service partners cover the instrument, and we list that alongside the offer.
Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.
Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.
We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
Tell us what you need and a scientist finds it for you, usually within the hour.
