Key features include excellent overload protection and a practical stackable design, making it easy to use with its 4-button operation in all conditions. The Scout scale provides high weighing speed and high-resolution display, along with options for RS232, USB, Ethernet, or Bluetooth® connections, enabling a modern and efficient student experience.
The scale comes equipped with a transport lock, stainless steel weighing pan, menu and adjustment lockout switch, and both software and mechanical overload/underload protection. It also features a stability indicator, auto tare, low battery indicator, and user-selectable auto power-off options.
Applications range from weighing samples to determining the density of solids or liquids, including using the built-in weigh below hook for specific gravity testing. It also facilitates molar concentration calculations by converting sample mass.
The Scout SKX621 is powered by an AC adapter or 4 AA batteries. Its ABS housing and stainless steel bowl ensure durability, while its excellent overload protection system allows it to support loads up to 10 times its rated capacity, perfect for rigorous educational settings. A transport lock protects the load cell during transport and storage, ensuring longevity.
