Clearbridge BioMedics ClearCell FX Cell Retrieval System This was removed from a university lab whe (more)re it was surplus to requirements. The unit powers up but is showing various historic faults from when it had been run previously. The client informed us it had a fault but were unable to confirm exactly what. It is in good cosmetic condition with minor marks. There are 2 x 50ml tubes fitted, a CTChip FR1S & bottle holder included.

This jet engine is being sold on behalf of a leading UK universities engineering and aerospace depar (more)tment. The engine which would have originally cost around 1 million USD was owned by MyTravel Aircraft Engineering. It was designed for the DC10 aircraft. In 2004, the engine type was retired as MyTravel retired the DC10 and moved to the Airbus Aircraft. Rather than disposing of the engine, it was moved to this universities engineering department as a training resource for students. This is a genuine full size jet engine. Its an extremely rare opportunity to acquire a unit like this. Planar NSI Near-Field Measurement System This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus (more) to requirements. The system comes with HP workstation xw4100 PC with installed Antenna Measurement Software NSI2000 version 4.11.202. It also has installed National Instruments - Measurement & Automation Explorer Version 15.3. Hardlock (dongle) included The system was not used for a few years, the technician who worked with it has retired and it was not used since.  The system is a planar near-field scanner, which measures an aperture of 1.5m x 1.5m. It is designed for high-frequency measurements of antennas. The equipment in the rack, controls the position of the probe and measurements are taken using a network analyser. These analysers are usually supplied by the customer and the one that was used with this system has been removed and is not included.

Epredia HM525 NX UV Cryostat This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirem (more)ents. The unit powers up and is in full working order (digital thermometer not included). It is in excellent cosmetic condition with minor marks.

This system was removed from a lab as it was no longer required. It was in full working order prior  (more)to removal from the lab. An engineer from Pacific Biosciences prepared the system for removal from the lab, including removing all the systems cladding, but unfortunately had to cut a few cables between the main unit and the environmental chamber. Whilst the blade server is included with the system, it has been wiped, so software may need reinstalling if you intend to use the system in full again. Strangely the information plate on the back of the unit just says 'PacBio RS' and not 'PacBio RS II' as would be expected, but the lab called it an RS II, and the cladding on the front says RS II, so we presume this is RS II. The engineer said that whilst getting the unit up and running again might be difficult, there is an enormous value of the system in parts. Apparently the camera part alone cost £125k. We have not removed any parts from the system whatsoever.
