Thermo Scientific MaxQ 481R HP refrigerated shaker with 25 to 525 rpm orbital shaking, 4 to 60 degrees C control and 32 kg load.
The Thermo Scientific MaxQ 481R HP refrigerated floor shaker is an incubated orbital shaker for microbial cultivation, cell culture, protein expression, solubility studies and laboratory mixing.
A universal shaking platform is included. The stainless steel chamber provides HEPA filtered airflow and a large viewing window for observing samples during operation.
The unit is used and was manufactured on August 30, 2021. Aluminum foil shown on top of the shaker was used to block light and will be removed.
The MaxQ 481R HP is a floor standing orbital shaker for temperature controlled sample mixing and incubation. Applications include:

The 4 to 60 degrees C temperature range supports refrigerated incubation as well as elevated temperature shaking for culture and protein expression workflows. Temperature control accuracy is plus or minus 0.1 degrees C, with approximately plus or minus 0.2 degrees C uniformity at 37 degrees C.
The 32 kg maximum load accommodates large and small culture vessels on the universal platform. The 25 to 525 rpm orbital speed range supports both lower speed mixing and higher speed agitation within the same incubated shaker.
Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.
We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.
We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.
With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.
Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.
Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.
Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.
We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
Tell us what you need and a scientist finds it for you, usually within the hour.
