Product description

Biosan PST-100HL plate thermo-shaker for microplate assays, with heating, orbital shaking, two 96-well plates and testing to 1200 rpm.

The Biosan PST-100HL plate thermo-shaker is a heated orbital shaker for microplate assays, including ELISA, enzyme reactions and molecular biology procedures requiring controlled temperature and mixing.

The unit combines heating and orbital shaking for two standard 96-well microplates. It can operate as a microplate incubator, shaker or combined thermo-shaker.

The unit is used and has been tested, including operation at 1200 rpm. It is in good operational condition.

Configuration

  • Biosan PST-100HL plate thermo-shaker with integrated heating
  • Orbital shaking with a 2 mm orbital diameter
  • Capacity for two standard 96-well microplates
  • Platform dimensions of approximately 250 × 150 mm
  • Shaking speed from 250 to 1200 rpm
  • Speed adjustment in 10 rpm increments
  • Temperature range from 5°C above ambient to 100°C
  • Temperature stability of ±0.1°C
  • Temperature uniformity of ±0.2°C at 37°C
  • Timer from 1 minute to 96 hours
  • Continuous operation

Laboratory Applications

This plate thermo-shaker supports microplate incubation for ELISA, enzyme reactions, protein analysis and molecular biology. It provides combined temperature control and mixing for workflows using standard 96-well microplates.

Condition

The used unit has been tested, including operation at 1200 rpm, and is in good operational condition.

What these specifications mean

Temperature stability of ±0.1°C supports controlled incubation conditions. Temperature uniformity of ±0.2°C at 37°C helps maintain similar conditions across the platform during microplate assays.

The 10 rpm speed adjustment increments allow the shaking rate to be set between 250 and 1200 rpm. The timer supports runs from 1 minute to 96 hours, and continuous operation is also possible.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
