Product description

CTC Analytics/Thermo Scientific HTS PAL autosampler with liquid and large volume injection, 100 µL syringe and Peltier cooled 6DW stack.

The CTC Analytics/Thermo Scientific HTS PAL autosampler is a high throughput autosampler for liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry sample injection. It supports liquid and large volume injection, random access to individual samples and vial to vial transfers through an XYZ mechanism.

The configuration includes an MXY 01-01B HTS PAL autosampler, MZ 01-00F injector housing arm, MSU 018-00A 100 µL liquid syringe kit, MV 02-01A 6-port 2-position valve, MV 02-01A 6-port injection valve, MC 05-01 Peltier cooled 6DW stack, MM 01-01F fast wash station, PAL 3xSolv100 solvent reservoir, MB 01-00A control module, one power supply and one Peltier thermostat. The fast wash station supports washing with two solvents. The cooled stack accommodates deep well or microtiter plates in 96 or 384 well formats.

The refurbished unit is used and has been tested as a complete system and by individual module. The injector housing arm tension cords were replaced, and the injection valves were tested with liquid. The Peltier cooled 6DW stack reaches approximately 18.3 degrees C rather than its specified cooling temperature range of 4 to 40 degrees C.

Configuration

  • CTC Analytics/Thermo Scientific HTS PAL high throughput autosampler
  • MZ 01-00F injector housing arm
  • MSU 018-00A liquid syringe kit with 100 µL capacity, 60 mm scale and 04 internal diameter
  • MV 02-01A 6-port 2-position valve, Cheminert C2-1006D-CTC
  • MV 02-01A 6-port injection valve, Cheminert C2V-006D-CTC
  • MC 05-01 Peltier cooled 6DW stack
  • MM 01-01F fast wash station for two solvents
  • PAL 3xSolv100 solvent reservoir with one holder and three 100 mL vials
  • MB 01-00A control module
  • Power supply and one Peltier thermostat

Applications and operation

The HTS PAL autosampler is configured for liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry sample injection. Liquid and large volume injection options support LC/MS flow injection analysis, high throughput screening and QA/QC applications. Random access supports individual sample selection. The XYZ mechanism handles sampling and rapid vial to vial transfers.

The stack cooler holds six deep well plates or microtiter plates in 96 or 384 well formats. Controlled Peltier cooling is intended to help prevent sample degradation. The unit provides ±0.1 mm positioning precision.

This used refurbished unit has undergone complete system and module testing. The injector housing arm tension cords were replaced, and the injection valves were tested with liquid. The cooled 6DW stack reaches approximately 18.3 degrees C.

What these specifications mean

The Peltier cooled 6DW stack is specified for 4 to 40 degrees C, while this unit reaches approximately 18.3 degrees C. The available cooling performance therefore differs from the nominal configuration and affects temperature controlled sample handling.

The positioning precision is ±0.1 mm. This supports consistent positioning during automated sample injection and vial to vial transfers.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
