EMA 2000 heating and stirring mantle for 50 mL to 2 L round bottom flasks, with 450°C maximum heating and stirring to 520 rpm.
The EMA 2000 heating and stirring mantle is a laboratory sample preparation unit for heating and magnetically stirring round bottom flasks from 50 mL to 2 L. It is also used for sample preparation in biotechnology and life sciences laboratories.
The mantle has integrated magnetic stirring with bidirectional speed control and an auto-recapture function for the stir bar. A bracket for 1.3 cm support rods is fitted, but the support rods are not included. The built-in energy regulator controls the heater.
The unit is used.
The EMA 2000 combines electric heating with magnetic stirring for round bottom flasks. The mantle accepts flask capacities from 50 mL to 2 L.
The polypropylene outer casing provides chemical resistance. A grounded earth screen and double fuses are incorporated into the electrical design. The housing uses a cool-to-touch design.
The mantle measures 400 x 350 x 197 mm in depth, width and height. Shipping weight is 5.68 kg. The 1.3 cm support rod bracket is included, but support rods are not included. This unit is used.
The 50 mL to 2 L flask range covers small-scale laboratory sample preparation through 2 L heating and stirring work. The 520 rpm bidirectional stirring range supports adjustment for different flask contents and viscosities.
The 450°C maximum element temperature supports high-temperature heating applications within the capacity range of the mantle.
Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.
We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.
We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.
With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.
Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.
Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.
Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.
We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
Tell us what you need and a scientist finds it for you, usually within the hour.
