Product description

Four-fold single-use bioreactor system with integrated pH, DO, temperature, agitation, gas, and pump control.

The Getinge Applikon my-Control four-fold single-use cell culture bioreactor system is a modular platform for parallel mammalian cell culture, process development, screening, and scale-down bioprocessing studies. Applikon Biotechnology is now part of Getinge.

  • Configuration: Four independent my-Control bioreactor controllers
  • Included hardware:
  • 4 × My-Control bioreactor controllers
  • 4 × Brushless Stirrer Motor M02.1
  • 4 × temperature probes
  • 8 × optical fibers for pH and dissolved oxygen measurement
  • 4 × heating blankets
  • 4 × vessel holders
  • 4 × Peltier exhaust condensers
  • Laptop computer
  • Network switch
  • Communication and power cables
  • Process inputs: pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen, and agitation
  • Gas control: 4 mass flow controllers (MFCs) with specified flow rates of N₂ at 160 mL/min, air at 10 mL/min, O₂ at 40 mL/min, and CO₂ at 40 mL/min
  • Liquid handling: 4 variable-speed pumps with a range of 0–200 rpm
  • Vessel compatibility: Applikon Appliflex ST 500 mL single-use vessels
  • Drive system: Direct drive
  • Maximum stirrer speed: 2,000 rpm; 250 rpm with a single-use bioreactor
  • Aeration: Air supply through a porous sparger and overlay
  • pH control: CO₂ gas combined with an alkali pump
  • Dissolved oxygen control: Combined N₂, air, O₂, and agitation control
  • Temperature control: Electric heating blankets
  • Exhaust condensation: Peltier coolers

The system is suited to parallel cell culture process development, comparison of culture conditions, media and feed screening, bioprocess optimization, and reproducible biotechnology workflows. Its single-use vessel configuration helps reduce cross-contamination risk and avoids cleaning and sterilization between runs.

Consumable vessels and other single-use supplies are not included. The listed system was manufactured in 2024 and underwent functional testing of the power system, peristaltic pumps, agitation motor, temperature probe, optical pH and dissolved oxygen transmitter, heating system, and gas-mixing components.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
