Product description

Guava Technologies EasyCyte Plus benchtop flow cytometer for multicolor cell analysis, viability assays, and 96 well plate or tube sampling.

The Guava Technologies EasyCyte Plus benchtop flow cytometer is a microcapillary flow cytometry system for multicolor cell analysis, absolute cell counting, and cell based assays in biotechnology and life sciences laboratories.

This unit includes automated sample handling from 96 well microplates and up to 10 sample tubes. It uses multicolor fluorescence with forward and side scatter. The system supports three standard fluorescent parameters, with optional fourth color or NIR configuration depending on installed options. A download of guavaSoft 2.7 software is included. A PC, consumables, reagents, and assay kits are not included.

The unit is used and has been power on tested. Software installation, functional testing, and data acquisition have not been performed. Returns are accepted if the instrument is defective or cannot be made operational.

Guava Technologies EasyCyte Plus is a compact benchtop flow cytometer for flow cytometry applications including:

  • Multicolor cell analysis
  • Absolute cell counting without reference beads
  • Cell viability and apoptosis analysis
  • Cell cycle and cell proliferation analysis
  • Cell toxicity and cell signaling assays
  • Immunophenotyping
  • Fluorescence based cell assays

The system uses microcapillary flow cytometry with forward scatter, side scatter, and three standard fluorescent parameters. An optional fourth color or near infrared configuration depends on the installed system options. The built in sample tray handles 96 well microplates and up to 10 tubes.

The system does not require sheath fluid. Typical waste generation is less than 50 mL during an 8 hour workday. The laser classification is Class 1. Electrical requirements are 100 to 240 V, 50/60 Hz, with 120 W power consumption.

Approximate dimensions are 40.6 x 57.2 x 33 cm, listed as length x depth x height. The system was made in the USA. The guavaSoft 2.7 software download is included, while a PC, consumables, reagents, and assay kits are not included. The unit is used and has been power on tested. Software installation, functional tests, and data acquisition have not been completed.

What these specifications mean

Microcapillary flow cytometry removes the need for sheath fluid. The system therefore reduces fluid consumption and waste compared with conventional flow cytometers. Typical waste generation is less than 50 mL during an 8 hour workday.

The 96 well microplate and tube handling support both plate based and tube based cell analysis workflows. Absolute cell counting is supported without reference beads. Three standard fluorescent parameters support multicolor analysis, while a fourth color or NIR configuration depends on the installed system options.

Why Questpair exists

Lab equipment markets are fragmented. Buyers spend weeks calling distributors, comparing quotes, and verifying supplier reliability. Sellers struggle to reach global research labs.

We built Questpair to fix this. Every supplier on the platform is verified before listing. Every quote you receive comes from a real, vetted seller. AI prepares your case in minutes, then a real specialist takes over.

We're an independent team based in The Netherlands, working with research labs and procurement teams across Europe and worldwide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does laboratory equipment typically last?

With a service contract, ten to fifteen years is normal for most benchtop instruments. Detectors and pumps are the parts that wear first.

Can I get service for older equipment?

Often, yes. Verified suppliers frequently work with service partners converting the instrument. If applicable, we can list servicing options alongside the offer.

Where can I buy parts?

Ask a scientist through the request button. Parts are often available even when the instrument itself is discontinued.

What is the typical lead time for refurbished equipment?

Two to six weeks, depending on refurbishment scope and whether calibration is included.

Does laboratory equipment ship internationally?

We ship to 38 countries. Crating and customs handling are quoted with the instrument.
