Profinet – an open communication system based on the industrial Ethernet standard. It is a cer (more)tain combination of features of PROFIBUS DB standard and industrial Ethernet. The Profinet interface application ensures compatibility of RADWAG weighing systems with industrial automation elements of other manufacturers. This approach results in easier and faster scales integration with PLCs, HMI operator panels or industrial robots. Profinet is featured in the IM01.EX-5 communication module and MW-01-A5 weighing module, and as an option at an extra charge in PUE HX7 and PUE HY10 terminals, and in HRP platforms (and is not included in HRP.EX platforms).

Profibus – a real-time industrial network standard. It is based on the physical layer of the s (more)erial interface known as RS485. Communication takes place on a master/ slave basis and in this correlation the scale acts as a slave device. The use of the Profibus interface allows RADWAG scales to integrate with older generation automation systems using the Profibus network, which is still widely used in industry. Profibus is featured in the IM01.EX-4 communication module as well as in MW-01-A4 and MW-04-3 weighing modules, and as an option at an extra charge in PUE HX7 and PUE HY10 terminals.

IN/OUT module – semiconductor digital inputs/outputs which can take two binary states: “ (more)0” (inactive) or “1” (active). The input ativation performs the assigned function of the scale, for example, zeroing, tare or process start. ZD421t (ZD4A042-30EM00EZ) - printer suitable for printing thermal and thermal transfer self-adhesive (more) labels. The maximum width of the media is 108 mm, with the maximum print on the width of 104 mm. As standard, it has a built-in movable label sensor. Printing takes place at speeds up to 152 mm / s, printing resolution 203 dpi. The printer is equipped with a USB port. The basic version of the printer does not include a dispenser and a cutter.

The water vapour permeability determination set is used in moisture analyzers of max capacity greate (more)r than 50g. Water vapour permeability is a feature that determines the quality and practicality of application of a given fabric. Clothes or footwear made of materials of inadequate permeability may be unhealthy and uncomfortable. In order to determine water vapour permeability, RADWAG moisture analyzer has to be equipped with a water vapour permeability determination set. The developed method of testing water vapour permeability consists in placing required amount of water in a vessel made of aluminium alloy, inside which a fabric sample, cut using a blanking die, is clamped. Prior to the test, the sample should be left in a room with stable ambient conditions for 24 hours. It is recommended to place the vessel containing water and sample in the moisture analyzer and start the drying process at 40°C. The advantage of this method is a very short drying time. It takes up to 50 minutes to obtain the result. In contrast, measurement carried out using standard method takes up to 72 hours. Measurement results are presented in mg H2O / 1000 mm2 / 24h or as the percentage amount of water vapour passed through the material to the amount of water vapour passed without the tested fabric.

The set is an ideal solution for drying large volume samples, e.g. textiles, or products that placed (more) on the weighing pan tend to increase their volume. The container allows to enclose the sample within a limited space wherein the possibility to determine the moisture content value remains unaffected. In the case of large-volume samples, the kit prevents the sample from coming into contact with solid elements of the moisture analyzer (such as the heating element or its cover) and protects it from damage. Closing a large-volume, low-density sample in the container also reduces the risk of errors resulting from the effect of the sample being raised by warm air. The accessory gives the user full control of the sample and an error-free result. The set consists of 2 components made of steel. It is compatible with all moisture analyzers.

It is equipped (more) with two handles for convenient carrying so that the device can be transported by two people at the same time (recommended). The interior of the case has been adapted to fit all device components, with this it can be carried without the risk of damage. The case is made of 6 mm thick plywood. It features reinforced corners, aluminium trim, and hard dark foam filling. The case comes as an accessory.
