(0512)."we are unable to test it further, and it is listed as Spares/Repair. We suspect the tip loader is faulty. This error prevents the system from connecting to the software. This Thermo Scientific Matrix Hydra II Automated Liquid Handling System was removed from a universit (more)y lab where it was surplus to requirements. The system is in good cosmetic condition with marks from use. All modules power up. We had a service engineer inspect and test this system after setting up and connecting all the electronic connectors but not the pipes. The 1-channel nanofill mechanism was stuck so they took it apart and lubricated it. It's now working fine and can be controlled by the PC. The matrix stage is working fine and can be controlled by the PC but the dispenser is not working. The Hydra pump Module: They have changed the two fan guards with better ones and cleaned the fan. Now they are looking better. This module is working fine and communicates with the PC as normal. We can run test protocols but from time to time we got some error messages. I think that because the fact we have not used any liquid and the system sends feedback when the liquid passed through some parts. This Beckman Coulter Biomek 4000 High Precision Liquid Handling System was removed from a university (more) lab where it was surplus to requirements. All the units are in very good used cosmetic condition but they do have various signs of general use. The system has been powered up and connected to the PC. We were able to get the head to go to the home position and all of the bays using the Biomek 4.1 software. It seems to be working as intended. The lab also said it was fully operational prior to removal. This Qiagen QIAsymphony Nucleic Acid Purification System was removed from a university lab where it  (more)was surplus to requirements. The unit powers up and we have run a series of maintenance programs on the unit. They all appeared to work exactly as they should.As far as we can tell, the unit is in full working order.  The lab reported it was fully working prior to removal. We are unsure of exact date of manufacture, but the first part maintenance was done in 2016, so it will be 2015-2016 age. It was removed from a Thermo Scientific Spinnaker, which was used to house the robotic arm to run along a workstation. It is in good cosmetic condition, but we are unable to test it as it requires connection to a Thermo Scientific Spinnaker System to operate. The track is 3200 mm long, as stated in the title.
