This Thermo Scientific 3311 Forma Steri-Cult Co2 Incubator was removed from a university lab where i (more)t was surplus to requirements. The unit powers up and has been tested extensively at 37˚C and 5% CO2 as well is 50% humidity. (Testing probes not included). We calibrated it to our working temperature and testing equipment, but will likely need calibrating again upon installation. It is in full working order. The unit powers up but in testing we found an issue with the Liquid handling system's y-Drive. It is showing Error 42 - step loss encoder. We were unable to test it any further due to this and the software will not fully start up. It is in otherwise good cosmetic condition with minor marks from use.

This Zeiss LSM 510 Meta Confocal High Resolution Microscope System was removed from a university lab (more) as it developed a fault. The university reported: "We have a confocal microscope (Zeiss LSM510 Meta) which we are hoping to sell. It powers up but doesn’t fully work, there must be a loose connection somewhere but I don’t have the time or space to work out where." The PC contains quite a lot of software.The programs that are relevant to the system are:MicroWriter ML Version 2.11.11.0.Thorlabs apt configuration utility v2.2.5389 14611. MicroWriter ML will not start up properly as the hardware is not connected. This is not a fault, we just don't have the rest of the system The Newport Motion Controller/Driver Model XPS control unit is for a table that the microwriter would sit on.

The unit has been professionally serviced and is in working order outside. The PC does continually come up with a server busy message, and we have been unable to resolve that, but there is a workaround. The instrument is functioning fine and can run samples smoothly. Failed PMT Dark Count (Photon Counting) - Failed due to high thermal electron current in the PMT due to high voltage in this mode. This will not affect the functionality of the instrument. Passed PMT Dark (Charge Integration) and LED Control. Server Busy message - This action cannot be complete because the other program is busy. Choose ‘Switch to’ to activate the busy program and correct the problem. It is in very good cosmetic condition with only minor marks from use.

This Olympus IX50/Arcturus LCM2106 PixCell 2E Microdissection Microscope System was removed from a u (more)niversity lab where it was surplus to requirements. All parts are in good used cosmetic condition but they do have signs of general use. We have powered it all up and the system appears to function as it should. We were able to view a slide via the software on the PC. It is an excellent system and is in full working order. It has been professionally serviced. The comments from the service engineer are below. It appears to be in good working condition but we have no way of checking the laser. The internal halogen works fine and so does the external metal halide illumination.
