The unit powers up and has been tested with a digital thermometer(not included). The water tank for humidity operation is missing from this unit, therefore it is listed as Spares/Repair. The temperature was first set to 37˚c, when reached, the thermometer read 38.8˚cThe temperature was then set to the maximum temp of 50˚c, when reached, the thermometer read 52.2˚cFinally, the temperature was set to the minimum of 0˚c, when dropped to, the thermometer read 3.1˚c. This Stem Corporation Block Heater & Chiller  Model - RS2550 was removed from a university  (more)lab where it was surplus to requirements. The heater powers up and has been tested with a digital thermometer (not included).When set to 37˚C the display showed 37˚C and the thermometer measured 36.2˚C.When set to 55˚C (max) the display showed 57˚C and the thermometer measured 53˚C. We were unable to test the shiller as we don't have the connecting cable. The magnetic stirrer seems to be working well. 25 x 27mm diameter tube holes

This Huber Unichiller UC015 was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.  (more)The item powers on and is in reasonably good used cosmetic condition. We were unable to test as there is a hole in the front tank. The alarm sounds from the low water level, but the hole doesn't allow it to be filled. It is sold for spares/repairs.

Thermo Scientific MaxQ 4000 Analog Incubator Shaker This was removed from a university lab where it (more) was surplus to requirements. The unit would not power up and tripped the electrics during testing. We believe the motor controller is faulty. The gas struts for the lid have also failed. It is in otherwise good cosmetic condition with marks from use.

This LabTech LT-3500 Microplate Washer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to req (more)uirements. The unit powers up and runs through the cleaning cycles, though they cannot be completed without the cleaning bottles. It was not tested further. It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition but the screen is slightly damaged. It is still responsive and mostly readable though.

This Safelab Systems Airone 1200-GS Filtration Fume Cupboard was removed from a university lab where (more) it was surplus to requirements. The unit powers up and is in working order. It is in good cosmetic condition ith some marks from use. Base frame size - L120 W76 H90cm

This Beckman J2-21 Floor Standing Centrifuge was removed from a university lab where it was surplus  (more)to requirements. We have replaced the lid and repaired an area of cracked plastic underneath it. It is very stable. There are some cracks around the gas strut area. They do not appear to affect the operation of the unit. The unit is functional and has a comprehensive service history. The centrifuge holds a vacuum well and has been tested at: 5,000rpm10,000rpm15,000rpm20,000rpm (Max). It ran fine at all these speeds but the needle isn't totally in sync with the control knob. It has been tested at the following temperatures: 0ºC our thermometer read -15.8ºC20ºC our thermometer read 21.2ºC It appears to probably have a cooling issue. The compressor etc runs fine. It just appears to drop lower than it is set. When set to higher temps, it takes quite a while to heat up.

Statebourne Crogenics Biostor 5 Liquid Nitrogen Dewar This was removed from a university lab where i (more)t was surplus to requirements. The unit is in good cosmetic condition but has not been tested. Internal Dimensions are: D 70cm x W 40cm. It has 5 storage containers each with 9 draws & 1 storage container with 7 draws.

Sanyo MSE Mistral 2000R Benchtop Refrigerated 4500rpm Centrifuge This was removed from a university  (more)lab where it was surplus to requirements. The unit powers up and is in full working order up to 4500rpm. It refrigerated well. It is in good cosmetic condition with minor marks from use. (Digital thermometer not included.) The buckets have 2 x (6 x 15 mil) & 2 x (1 x 50 mil) adapters.

This VWR V-3000PC Visible Spectrophotometer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus t (more)o requirements. The unit powers up and starts a 15 min preheat. After this, it asks if it was to be calibrated or not. We have not tested it further. It is in good cosmetic condition with marks from use.

Lambda Omnicoll Franction Collector - Sampler This was removed from a university lab where it was su (more)rplus to requirements. The unit is missing a few parts and we were unable to power it on. For this reason it is sold for spares/repairs. Rack holds 90 x 5ml

This unit was removed from a lab as surplus to requirements. The lab assured us it was in working or (more)der when last used, but we do not have a PC or software to test this instrument at our site. In the testing we were able to carry out, the item powers on, both front lights were flashing orange. We attempted to test it with a PC and software (not included). The unit is failing to initialise during the startup. It seems to be failing at the 'camera cooling surveillance' section. Item is in a good used cosmetic condition. It is sold for spares/repairs
