BK-FD20/30 Pilot-Scale Freeze Dryers

The BK Technology BK-FD20/30 Series offers pilot-scale freeze dryers designed for highly efficient lyophilization processes. This series includes standard models (BK-FD20S and BK-FD30S) and those equipped with stoppering capabilities (BK-FD20T and BK-FD30T). These freeze dryers come with a minimum cold trap temperature of -80ºC, and the tray temperature can be adjusted between -50ºC and +70ºC for optimal versatility. The integrated pre-freezing and drying in a single chamber, along with a vacuum capacity of less than 0.1 mBar, ensure efficient processing. The system boasts a cold trap capacity of 13.5 L and can capture up to 6.5 kg of water per day. The liquid capacity is either 4.5 L for the BK-FD20x models or 7 L for the BK-FD30x models. Dimensions include a cold trap of 240x300 mm (diameter/height) and a freeze-drying chamber measuring 470x485x420 mm, with trays sized at 305x405x17 mm, heated effectively via silicone oil. The touch-screen LCD interface facilitates operation, featuring a month-long historic data register and USB data export. Each unit includes a 22 m³/h vacuum pump.
