Wet gas vacuum pump Laboport SD N 820.3 FT.40.18 KNF-cover
Wet gas vacuum pump Laboport SD N 820.3 FT.40.18 KNF

The N 820.3 FT.40.18 is a two-stage pump with an integrated “self-drying” system for automatic conde (more)nsate drain. The “SD” series is widely used in laboratories, especially when the vapors are humid and a clean and ecological vacuum is required. Typical applications are: vacuum ovens (for drying chemicals, drying biological samples, heat treatments), autoclaves for sterilizing instruments, containers, filters and textiles. Thanks to the use of anti-corrosion materials, it is possible to vacuum even corrosive products.  The heart of the pump is the diaphragm with differentiated structure in PTFE, optimized to guarantee high performance with reduced dimensions and at the same time, long life even in heavy applications.  When the humid gases are sucked in, condensation may form in the pump head: consequently the performance decreases, considerably increasing the emptying time. To eliminate condensation, the 'drying system' then opens a solenoid valve that allows ambient air to enter the heads. Once the condensation has been eliminated, the solenoid valve closes and the pump sucks from the stove in full capacity. Over time, condensation could form again and then the cycle is repeated. The time interval between one cycle and the next can be adjusted as desired, as well as the duration of the air injection. Technical features Flow rate (max.) 20 l / min Final vacuum (max.) 10 mbar (abs.) Pressure (max.) 1 bar (rel.) Fluid temperature allowed at 5-40°C FFPM valve material PTFE coated diaphragm material Pump head material PTFE Applications Rotary evaporation Vacuum oven Qualitative characteristics Clean operation, 100% oil-free Corrosion resistant PTFE / FFPM flow path Ideal for extremely aggressive / corrosive gases and vapors Compact, silent and reliable The self-drying system removes condensation without altering the vacuum level Maintenance free Download the data sheet for further information and accessories. Edwards E2M28 Vacuum Pump-cover
Edwards E2M28 Vacuum Pump

The Edwards type E2M28 vacuum pump comes with an Agilent G3199B sound-damping box and an Edwards oil (more) mist filter type EM20. The EM range of oil‑sealed rotary pumps – renowned for their high ultimate vacuum, rapid pumping speed, quiet operation and ability to handle vapour – have become the industry standard for laboratory and light industrial applications. The pump is a freestanding unit with the drive provided through a flexible coupling by either a single‑phase or three‑phase (four pole) air cooled motor. The motor is totally enclosed and is cooled by the motor-cooling fan which directs air along the motor fins. The motors are fitted with a thermal overload device. When the motor is too hot, the thermal overload device switches off the pump. The thermal overload device has an automatic reset; when the motor cools down, the device resets and the motor will restart. Applications are: Analytical instruments – LCMS Automotive Beam lines and high energy physics Centrifuges, ultra-high speed Coating Cryogenics Degassing/curing – oil, epoxy resin Distillation/extraction/filtration Freeze drying Furnaces Gas bottle filling/emptying Gel drying Glove boxes, ovens Laboratory bench top vacuum Technical specifications: Voltage: 220-240 V Displacement (swept volume) at 50 Hz: 32.2 m3h-1 Displacement (swept volume) at 60 Hz: 38.9 m3h-1 Ultimate vacuum (total pressure) without gas ballast: 1 x 10-3 mbar Ultimate vacuum (total pressure) with gas ballast: 1.5 x 10-2 mbar Nominal rotation speed               : 1440 / 1720 rpm Oil capacity – max: 1.5 litre Oil capacity – min: 1.2 litre Outer dimensions (W) x (D) x (H):  790 x 305 x 430 mm Weight:  44 kg
