Description by the supplier

The Techne FC-200 Flow Coolers work in conjunction with a Techne thermoregulator. The bath liquid flows through the unit which continually extracts heat from the bath fluid by means of the heat exchanger which is built into the unit. Techne FC-200 Flow coolers are designed for use when temperatures down to -20°C are required.

VACUUBRAND BVC Basic G Fluid Aspiration System

VACUUBRAND BVC Basic G Fluid Aspiration System Control Range 100 to 500 mbar Collection Bottle 2L Gl (more)ass Max. Back Pressure (abs.) 1.1 bar Features - Mechanical vacuum regulator and integrated check valve to provide optimum working vacuum and minimize the vapor load on the vacuum network - Stable base and electricity-free operation for convenience - Autoclavable collection bottle designed to reduce aerosol and foam formation; autoclavable quick-couplings available as accessory - Aspiration hand set VacuuHandControl (VHCpro) with flow-through suction tube - no contamination of handle by aspirated media - Hydrophobic 0.2 µm sterilizable filter - contamination risks for the vacuum pumping system are greatly reduced The BioChem-VacuuCenter BVC basic is designed for connection to an existing external vacuum source like a diaphragm pump or a vacuum network (e.g., VACUU·LAN®) and does not require electric power. The chemical-resistant mechanical vacuum controller always ensures an optimal operating vacuum. The controller opens only when needed thus limiting the gas load on the vacuum source. The evaporation of collected liquid is minimized. The inlet tubing integrated in the bottle head reduces aerosol and foam formation and ensures a long service life of the hydrophobic protection filter. The aspiration system is available either as BVC basic with 4l PP bottle or as BVC basic G with 2l coated borosilicate glass bottle. INCLUDED: The VACUUBRAND BVC Basic G Fluid Aspiration System includes: - Hose Nozzle DN 6/10 mm - VacuuHandControl VHC Aspiration Hand Set - 2L Collection Bottle - Protection Filter - Operators Manual - 1 Year Manufacturer's Warranty

Amersham Biosciences ÄKTAxpress FPLC System-cover
Amersham Biosciences ÄKTAxpress FPLC System

ÄKTAxpress is a liquid chromatography system intended for automated, multi steppurification processe (more)s. The system has been developed and optimized for purificationof Histidine-tagged and Glutathione S-Transferase (GST)-tagged recombinant proteins from clarified or crude cell lysates. ÄKTAxpress supports a number of purification protocols containing up to four chromatography steps, for example, affinity chromatography followed by desalting, ion exchange, and gel filtration. Protocols for purification of both low expressed proteins and well expressed proteins are included. Also protocols supporting purification of double tagged proteins and protocols that can be combined with on-column and off-line (batch) tag cleavage are provided. ÄKTAxpress provides the following features: •Automatic purification of up to four samples in a single run. •Purification protocols containing up to four chromatography steps. •Automated on-column affinity tag removal in the first step of purification protocols starting with an affinity/ion exchange chromatography step. •Purification protocols supporting purification of both well expressed and low expressed proteins, double tagged proteins and proteins that have been cleaved off-line. •Up to 50 mg of protein can be purified per sample. •Up to twelve ÄKTAxpress systems can be run in parallel, controlled from one computer (not included). Different purification protocols can be run simultaneously. •The systems can be placed next to each other or they can stand separately if preferred.
