Character communication protocol is designed for communication between RADWAG balance and external d (more)evice via RS232, Ethernet or Wi-Fi* interfaces. The protocol consists of commands sent from the external device to the balance and responses sent from the balance to the device. Responses are sent from the balance each time a command is received as a response to the command. The anti-draft chamber is an optional accessory intended for XA 4Y and XA 5Y balances working in unf (more)avourable conditions (air-drafts). It is mounted on a table, inside the balance is placed. The chamber features sliding side panes allowing free access to the weighing chamber of the balance. Antistatic ionizer is used to remove overflow of mainly plus ions, and also minus ions from the load (more) and elements of a balance and the environment. Electric charges of the air are neutralized by the ionizer enabling reaching a quasi-balance of plus and minus ions. Unbalance of plus and minus ions in the air frequently causes unwanted electric influences (attraction or repulsion) of elements which are in small distance to each other. It is a usual phenomenon for non-conducting materials (i.e. plastic, glass). As some of balance elements are made of plastic and glass, this problem can considerably affect their operation and measurement results. The influence of electrostatics appears in a form of multiplied repeatability error or as multiplied error of indications.

A stent is a type of prosthesis that is placed inside a blood vessel to restore its patency. Stent D (more)ozens of lives are saved thanks to it. Its shape, size, and weight must be matched to the blood vessel. In addition, the stent application site requires attention to sterility. These properties necessitate the use of balances with the highest resolution for the inspection of stents. The stent weighing kit has been designed to ensure that such a delicate sample, a stent, is weighed with the greatest precision possible, yet in an easy and ergonomic manner. The said precision is obtained thanks to the XA 5Y.M.A.S. microbalances, and ergonomics due to the specially designed weighing pan and additional draft shields. The weighing pans that are part of the kit allow for weighing stents of different sizes, including 5.5 × 140 mm, 6 × 60 mm, 8 × 40 mm, 8 × 40 mm, 19 × 10 mm, and 1.6 × 19 mm. Thanks to the well-thought-out design of the kit and its applicators, the user places the stent on a special tray, which increases ergonomics and eliminates cross-contamination. The stent weighing kit includes 7 items: draft shield base, 2 draft shields, 2 fork-shaped stent weighing pans: for small (1) and large (1) stents, 2 stent applicators: for small (1) and large (1) stents. Due to the different shapes and sizes of stents, two types of weighing pans, dedicated covers, and size-appropriate applicators come standard with the kit. The THB sensor is designed to measure parameters such as temperature, humidity, pressure, air density and vibrations level. Sensor registers level of permissible vibrations at the workstation, wherein the values of vibrations level are displayed within 0 - 100% range versus reference values in laboratory conditions. Values exceeding 100% threshold inform about potential occurrence of error greater than permissible error of mass measurement performed using weighing device. THBR Box There are three models of the recorder: with an integral screen, with a separate screen, without a screen. Communication with THBR BOX can be established wireless or via Ethernet. The module enables direct connection with up to 4 sensors. With use of USB hub it is possible to connect greater number of sensors. Each sensor has its own identification number that is assigned to measurements saved to the database. THBR Box features the following connectors: 4xUSB, HDMI, Ethernet.
