All systems are delivered with warranty!   VICI PDDs (pulsed discharge detectors) utilize a stable, low powered, pulsed DC discharge in helium as an ionization source. Eluants from the column, flowing counter to the flow of helium from the discharge zone, are ionized by photons from the helium discharge. The bias electrode(s) focus the resulting electrons toward the collector electrode, where they cause changes in the standing current which are quantified as the detector output. Performance is equal to or better than detectors with conventional radioactive sources. In the electron capture mode, the PDD is a selective detector for monitoring high electron affinity compounds such as freons, chlorinated pesticides, and other halogen compounds. For this type of compound, the minimum detectable quantity (MDQ) is at the femtogram (10-15) or picogram (10-12) level. The PDD is similar in sensitivity and response characteristics to a conventional radioactive ECD, and can be operated at temperatures up to 400°C. For operation in this mode, He and CH4 are introduced just upstream from the column exit. In the helium photoionization mode, the PDD is a universal, non-destructive, high sensitivity detector. The response to both inorganic and organic compounds is linear over a wide range. Response to fixed gases is positive (increase in standing current), with an MDQ in the low ppb range. The PDD in helium photoionization mode is an excellent replacement for flame ionization detectors in petrochemical or refinery environments, where the flame and use of hydrogen can be problematic. In addition, when the helium discharge gas is doped with a suitable noble gas, such as argon, krypton, or xenon (depending on the desired cutoff point), the PDD can function as a specific photoionization detector for selective determination of aliphatics, aromatics, amines, as well as other species. Available for 110 VAC and 230 VAC.

Varian SPS-5 Autosampler-cover
Varian SPS-5 Autosampler

For sale: refurbished Varian SPS-5 Autosampler   Also available: SPS3 sampler and other options if n (more)eeded Other Atomic Absorption Systems like Varian 220FS, 220Z Furnance, 240Z Furnance, Perkin Elmer series New and used parts for Agilent and Varian AAS systems   We are not a agent/reseller. All products on our website are in stock and can be delivered with installation by our own service engineers. All systems are delivered with warranty! We are not a agent/reseller. All products on our website are in stock and can be delivered with installation by our own service engineers. All systems are delivered with warranty! We can deliver maintenance and repair services by our own engineers   The SPS-5 Sample Preparation System is a random-access autosampler which can be connected to all of the AA, ICP and UV spectrometers currently manufactured by Varian. It can hold up to 500 samples when the optional rear rack extension is fitted. A fume hood is also available. A range of rack types is available for different test tube sizes. Rack hole sizes can be further customized with the 60 position (Type 25) rack for different test tube diameters. The SPS-5 is compatible with the optional on-line Auto-Diluter. The SPS-5 autosampler includes rinse station, two racks (Type 25 and Type A) and inert probe. Standard configuration allows up to three sample or standard racks to be used at once. With the optional rack extension, up to five racks may be accommodated. Racks must be ordered separately. The autosampler requires but does not include test tubes/bottles. The SPS-5 is also available in a fibreoptic autosampler version for use with the Cary 1, 3, 4, 5, 50, 100, 300, 400 and 500 with the Cary WinUV software. Version 2 of the WinUV software does not support use of the SPS-5 with the normal liquid sampling probe nor does it support the optional Diluter. Rack recognition To reduce the risk of operator error, the SPS-5 features Magnetic Rack Recognition (MRR). Each rack has an embedded magnet which is detected by sensors in the SPS-5. The SPS-5 can detect rack presence and type, minimizing the risk of operator error during rack changes. Rack types The SPS-5 can be fitted with five different rack types, catering for a range of sample vessels: Rack type Capacity Tube volume (nominal) Type 10 100 10 mL Type 25 60 25 mL Type 50 35 50 mL Type A 12 125 mL Type B 6 500 mL The Type 25 rack can be fitted with adapters to hold small diameter test tubes. The Type A and B racks are supplied with vessels. All racks are made from chemical-resistant polypropylene. Probe height The height of the SPS-5 probe can be programmed so that you can sample from a particular layer in a sample or avoid aspirating sediment from the bottom of a vessel. Diluter An optional Diluter can be fitted to the SPS-5. This can be used for off-line standard and sample preparation prior to a run. It can also be used to perform on-line dilutions for some techniques. The Diluter’s design ensures that the syringe is never contaminated. After dispensing any solution into a sample vessel, the SPS-5 will mix the contents with the probe. The probe is simultaneously vibrated horizontally and moved up and down through the solution. Splashing is eliminated as the probe height is set in response to the volume in the vessel.

Tekmar Dohrmann Velocity XPT Purge and trap-cover
Tekmar Dohrmann Velocity XPT Purge and trap

For sale: Tekmar Dohrmann Velocity XPT Purge and trap Condition: never used Including: installation  (more)kit + test reports from manufacturer     We are not a agent/reseller. All products on our website are in stock and can be delivered with installation by our own service engineers. All systems are delivered with warranty! Velocity XPT is more than a next-generation Purge and Trap system, it’s a revolutionary leap in technology. Advancements in Velocity XPT ensure the highest throughput with the least amount of downtime. From cutting sample cycle time nearly in half, to built-in intelligent diagnostics, Velocity XPT is the most productive Purge and Trap available today. With the Velocity XPT, you increase the sample throughput up to 100%. This nearly double sample throughput and increases the profitability of your VOC lab without the cost of an additional GC system. Patent-pending Accelerated Purge and Trap technology lets you independently control the flow rate during all modes, greatly reducing dry purge and bake times. Velocity XPT also provides a 25% reduction in trap cool down time after bake mode. Forward Focusing Chamber:  This patent-pending technology provides the highest resolution chromatography and superior peak shape for early eluting gases. By placing an expansion chamber after the trap during the desorption modes, analytes are focused into a tight band. When analytes are tightly focused prior to desorption into the GC, dramatic improvements in chromatography resolution are evident. The FFC also efficiently desorbs which greatly reduces carryover from run to run. Exceptional Inertness: Silcosteel tubing and Silcosteel-treated fittings throughout the sample pathway prevent loss of active, polar, and high-boiling compounds, and also resists corrosion. With the simple setup and accurate control, you save time by entering all parameters electronically with Electronic Flow Control where flow and pressure parameters remain precisely the same and are constantly monitored for accurate and reproducible results. Automatic Leak Check, Electronic Pressure Monitor: With intelligent diagnostics, Velocity XPT quickly and simply checks itself for leaks. If a leak is detected, system diagnostics help you isolate and pinpoint leaks. The Electronic Pressure Monitor uses a pre-set over pressure limit to identify potential pressure build ups and will shut itself down before damage can occur. The Guardian Foam Sensor option is a set of built-in photodiode-based sensors. If foam or liquid is detected at the top of the glassware, purge gas shuts down, the vent valve closes, and the sample drains. Guardian can be configured to automatically add an anti-foaming agent to the sample, allowing purge to continue and without re-running the sample.
