One of them holds the electronic module, and the other precise mechanical measuring system. High measuring accuracy is guaranteed by semi-automatic adjustment system with external mass standard. The weighing pan made of aluminium is covered with cork layer and features centering holders for the weights. The APP 5Y.KO series features an intuitive menu supporting a user in instrument operation. Correct operation of the mass comparator requires applying a special anti-draft shield which comes standard with the instrument.

All elements of the weighing chamber are manufactured from glass or metal to minimize the influence of electrostatic charges on weighing result. THB sensor THB sensor is a device measuring ambient conditions, it cooperates with: a computer (1 se (more)nsor via USB 2.0 port); direct cooperation, a weighing device (1 sensor via USB 2.0 port); direct cooperation, a THBR Box (up to 4 sensors connected to THBR Box via USB 2.0 port). The THB sensor is designed to measure parameters such as temperature, humidity, pressure, air density and vibrations level. Sensor registers level of permissible vibrations at the workstation, wherein the values of vibrations level are displayed within 0 - 100% range versus reference values in laboratory conditions. Values exceeding 100% threshold inform about potential occurrence of error greater than permissible error of mass measurement performed using weighing device. Each sensor has its own identification number that is assigned to measurements saved to the database. Ambient conditions can be monitored using: weighing instrument display website Windows OS application: THB Single or THB Multi Android application. On the basis of sent measurements, the THB Single or THB Multi software determines air temperature, humidity, pressure, density and permissible vibrations factor.

The suspended self-centring weighing pan is designed specifically for the WAY 5Y.KO manual mass comp (more)arators. Installed It is installed during the device’s production stage in place of the standard weighing pan, so it should be ordered when ordering a comparator (it is not sold as a separate product). The weighing pan has the following functions: placing several weights, which are the resultant of the reference standard, off-centre, positioning the centre of gravity of the test and reference standards always in the same place.

Fully Automated Process of Robotic Comparison of Mass Standards Opening of the weighing chamber in the course of measurements generates air drafts and changes environmental conditions inside the chamber, this causes a great increase in dispersion. It has been solved due to a combination of the robotic mass comparator features with the characteristics of the automatic machines. A Robot and an Automatic Machine in One RMC 1000.5 mass comparator combines features of robotic and automatic mass comparators. Real-Time Measurement of Ambient Conditions The new RMC 1000.5 mass comparator has been equipped with a top-class thermo-hygro-barometer enabling real-time control of ambient conditions in four locations, among many in the weighing chamber and mass standard magazine. Thermo-hygro-barometers are highly precise devices measuring pressure with the readability of 0.001 hPa, humidity of 0.01 %, and temperature of 0.001 °C. Reliability of ambient conditions measurement carried out using the thermo-hygro-barometer is confirmed by a calibration certificate. Universal Magazine Insert Design Mass standard magazine features 36 positions. The RMC 1000.5 enables comparison of weights of all shapes compliant with OIML recommendations, using just one universal insert. Remote, real-time preview of comparison process is possible thanks to a video camera. Transport Arm With use of the automatic mass comparator, the transport arm remains inactive in the course of comparison, this eliminates air drafts and vibrations, considerably shortens comparison, and reduces noise emission. The transport arm of the RMC 1000.5 mass comparator is used only to transfer the mass standards, it is out of operation within the comparison process. Optional Equipment Additional equipment includes a video camera enabling remote preview of comparison process in real time (Internet access required), and RMCS software.
