Application: Automatic mass comparator AK-4/1000 series is intended to automatic determination of we (more)ights mass deviations with operator’s activity limited to the minimum. The comparator enables determining deviations of three tested weights in a single cycle. AK-4/1000 is designed to compare weights from 100 g to 1 kg. The instrument is commonly applicable in mass measuring laboratories, and particularly in certification units for weights classes E and F. Design and functionality: The supervising part of the mass comparator is a digital module which cooperates with a controller of instrument’s mechanical components. The digital module and the automatic loader are located in mass comparator’s weighing chamber. The instrument is operated by means of digital display which is plugged to mass comparator’s controller. The supervising elements are not integrated with mass comparator’s mechanical parts, thus enabling separation of instrument’s weighing chamber from ambient conditions influence.

The 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance Module is a solution especially useful for those users who are obliged (more) to conform to provisions of 21 CFR Part 11 and EU GMP Part 4, Annex 11 regulations. These two documents determine the rules for using electronic records and signatures. Data protection is guaranteed by: advanced password settings, control of logging correctness, various permission levels, data management access, backup, electronic signature, time-defined automatic logout, modification record to Audit Trail file. The module includes "Audit Trail". Audit Trail is a kind of a log where all modifications of balance settings, changes in database records and user activity are recorded. Audit Trail, for example, keeps record of previous and new modifications in databases and informs by whom and when they were introduced. This log allows the administrator to track and find out who logged in, when, who signed a document or who used invalid password. The newest line of Radwag Mass Comparators enables adjusting mass standards and weights according to (more) the OIML recommendations (R-111) from 1 mg to 5 kg for E1 class and lower. Mass comparators are used both for ensuring traceability of mass measurements, and verification of weights in accordance with the principles of legal metrology. The device is equipped with 36 magazine positions allowing to deposit up to 36 weights. This solution allows to perform either comparison for complete set of weights carried out within one process or comparison for just a few weights of the same mass. Owing to elimination of human factor and with temperature changes and air drafts reduced to zero, UMA automatic mass comparators provide the highest possible measurement repeatability.

RADWAG-manufactured susceptometer enables carrying out measurements of magnetic susceptibility and m (more)agnetization of weights of E1 and lower classes in accordance with OIML R111. Modular design, upon disassembling respective module, enables using the susceptometer as a mass comparator or a balance. Thermo-hygro-barometers are highly precise devices measuring pressure with the readability of 0.001 hPa, humidity of 0.01 %, and temperature of 0.001 °C. Reliability of ambient conditions measurement carried out using the thermo-hygro-barometer is confirmed by a calibration certificate. Universal Magazine Insert Design Mass standard magazine features 10 positions. The RMC 10000.5Y enables comparison of weights of all shapes compliant with OIML recommendations, using just one universal insert. Remote, real-time preview of comparison process is possible thanks to a video camera. Transport Arm With use of the automatic mass comparator, the transport arm remains inactive in the course of comparison, this eliminates air drafts and vibrations, considerably shortens comparison, and reduces noise emission. The transport arm of the RMC 10000.5Y mass comparator is used only to transfer the mass standards, it is out of operation within the comparison process. Ejectable mass standards magazine For the user's convenience, the magazine slides out of the robot's footprint at the time of arming and allows weights to be applied very easily, then positions itself automatically when retracted. Optional Equipment Additional equipment includes a video camera enabling remote preview of comparison process in real time (Internet access required), and RMCS software. The RMCS allows unrestricted monitoring of the comparison process.

It is in good cosmetic condition and powers on, but there is no software included. Therefore, we are unable to conduct further testing. The lab confirmed it was in working order prior to removal, but were unable to provide the PCs and Software.
