The beam splitters showing signs of moisture damage, and the unit has software recognition issues.As a result, it is listed as Spares/Repair.

This Perkin Elmer Spectrum GX FT-IR System was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to (more) requirements. We had the instrument inspected by a service engineer who reported that the unit powers up, but the IR source does not power up and the window is moisture damaged. The beam splitter looks fine and the laser powers up. There is a PC with the unit it has Spectrum Software program version 5.3. on it.
