Peristaltic pumps

Peristaltic pumps are suitable to pump or circulate high volumes of liquid. Because the fluid flow is created is a pulsed fashion, it is often less suitable for microfluidic devices requiring a constant and stable flow. Also, the precision of peristaltic pumps is typically lower than for syringe pumps.
