Peristaltic pumps are the simplest possible pump, with no valves, seals or glands to clog or corrode. The fluid contacts only the bore of a tube, eliminating the risk of the pump contaminating the fluid, or the fluid contaminating the pump. Peristaltic pumps can operate dry without risk. This Qiagen BioRobot 3000 Molecular Biology Workstation was removed from a university lab where it w (more)as surplus to requirements. The unit is in good used cosmetic condition but it does have various marks and signs of general use. The Robot bed does have stains etc from use but is generally in good condition.
