Water purification equipment

Water can contain all kinds of impurities, ranging from suspended particles and salts to other undesirable substances such as chemicals, biological contaminants and gases. Water purification devices are generally used to make water potable and suitable for human consumption, but water purification is important for scientific research and in medical, pharmacological chemical industries.

LAUDA Hydro H 5 V ring Water bath-cover
LAUDA Hydro H 5 V ring Water bath

Water bath from 25°C to 100°C for the laboratory The ring baths for columns, Erlenmeyer flasks or be (more)akers are suitable for continuous operation, even unattended, thanks to the standard level and lack of water monitoring. LAUDA Hydro ring water baths are available in five models, all featuring a removable perforated lid with a set of heat-resistant plastic rings. - Operations in a temperature range from 25 to 100°C. - Models H 11 V, H 19 V have been specially designed for safe use in fume cupboards. - The housings are made of stainless steel to allow their use even with chemically aggressive fluids. - Temperature regulation by knob with graduated scale - Lid with set of rings for opening the modular tank - Water level and lack control, for continuous unattended operations - The support rods (length 600 mm, diameter 12 mm), made of stainless steel, are included as standard - Hydro is protected against dry running by an electro-mechanical valve. In case of low water, the heating is stopped In the photo, simple control panel, with knob, graduated scale, warning light and safety valve. Ring opening, to adapt to different types of glassware. Standard water level regulator for continuous operation, even unattended. Safety system in case of water shortage LAUDA evaporization baths are protected against dry running by a cut-off device for lack of water (thermostatic overvoltage). The nut located on the control panel will be used to disarm the security system. Water level regulator as standard Thanks to this accessory, the loss of water inside the instrument (through evaporation) is compensated and the water level is kept constant. Furthermore, it allows use at temperatures below ambient temperatures, with a minimum of approx. 3°C above tap water temperature.

Water bath with stirring LAUDA Hydro H 20 SW-cover
Water bath with stirring LAUDA Hydro H 20 SW

Water bath from 25°C to 99.9°C for the laboratory The shaking water baths of the LAUDA Hydro series  (more)stir laboratory samples with linear or orbital motion, depending on the model. They are reliable instruments, ideal for any laboratory application, be it biological, medical or biochemical, guaranteeing a homogeneous distribution of the temperature. The integrated speed controller enables a load-independent, continuously adjustable stirring movement with soft start. The H 20 SW and H 20 SOW shaking water baths are equipped with a cooling coil as standard. The temperature range can be extended to a minimum of +10°C by connecting them to the domestic water supply or commercially available circulating chillers. Qualitative characteristics - Digital regulation of the temperature and indication via LED display - Load-independent, continuously variable stirring with soft start - Electronic monitoring of the thermoregulator functions, with two fuses for under/over temperature protection - Tank, frame, cover with condensation channel, shaking basket and heater in stainless steel - No dripping condensation – arched insulating lid to reduce heat loss and prevent condensation from dripping onto samples Operation All water baths come standard with a perforated pan and no racks are required. Flasks and containers can be placed directly on the bottom. The drain valve is located on the rear side. Controllers The control panel consists of a large, high-contrast TFT display and a membrane keyboard with four softkeys, protected against dirt and water drops. The menu will guide you on how to use the bain-marie correctly. Esempi applicativi - Bacteriological tests - Molecular biology - Demulsivity studies - Processing of chemical reactions - Thawing - Metallurgical analyses - Incubation of microbiological assays - heating reagents - Environmental studies - Food Processing (QC) - Water quality research - Cytochemistry Accessories available Water level regulator. The heating element is located directly under the sieve plate for even temperature distribution in the tank. Electronic monitoring of the temperature regulator. Two independently operating temperature fuses. Improved visual and audible alarms for increased sample safety. Control elements tilted back for increased splash protection and improved operating comfort. - Perforated plate to place the glassware directly on the bottom. - Fill mark max. to prevent overflows. - Easy removal of sieve plate for cleaning. Highest quality materials: tank interior, lid, sieve and heating element made of stainless steel. Heat insulating lid in stainless steel, double walled with internal curvature to guide the condensate. Limescale deposits inside the water bath can be removed with normal commercial descalers. The internal tray can be easily disassembled and lifted for quick and thorough cleaning. Recommended accessories - Water level regulator. Thanks to this accessory, the loss of water inside the instrument (through evaporation) is compensated and the water level is kept constant. Furthermore, it allows use at temperatures below ambient temperatures, with a minimum of approx. 3°C above tap water temperature.

Bibby Scientific Aquatron A4000D Water Still-cover
Bibby Scientific Aquatron A4000D Water Still

Unused device. Original packaging. 6 months warranty. Aquatron® units have fully automatic operation (more) direct from a potable water supply - alternatively, an optional water feed conversion kit enables connection to any pre-treated water source. The distillate storage Level control switch fits any collection reservoir. A double coil condenser and boiler system combined with a VYCOR® silica glass sheathed heating element provides exceptionally high quality pyrogen-free distillate (although distillate should be tested). These stills can also be used with the filter and deionisation units for which the water feed conversion kit (Cat. No. 171-1210) is required. Fully automatic operation May be connected to a potable or pre-treated (conversion kit required) water supply Operates with low quality or low pressure water source Automatic cut-out for water supply failure BioCote® antimicrobial protection pH, conductivity and resistivity are affected by temperature and the presence of absorbed carbon dioxide. Specifications are based on tests conducted at 20 °C with CO₂-free water. Care is needed to obtain pyrogen-free water and the distillate must be tested before use. Technichal Specifications: - Destillation: Double - Output: 4 l/h H2O bidest. - pH: 5,0 to 6,5 - Temperature: 25 to 35 °C - Power: 6 kW - Dimensions (WxDxH): 550 x 240 x 410 mm - Weight: 30 kg - Water input: 2 l/min All Stuart® water stills are classified as ‘Permanently Connected Equipment’ and should be connected to the electricity supply by a qualified electrician in the manner described in the user manual.
